A lot of mystery novels tend to focus on the "who" and the "how", but they always neglect the "why". I think the "why" is the most important part to any mystery than working the puzzle pieces to solve it.

Heh... If detectives didn't have any love in their hearts to understand their culprits, then they would be no better than intellectual rapists!
